U.S. Military Radar System Upgrade Detects Hypersonic Threats

The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the deployment of a newly upgraded radar system capable of detecting hypersonic missile threats. The system, known as the Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR), is now fully operational in Alaska.
